Hello! Travnik, that sounds like a place where even the stones could tell stories. The time probably took a break and decided to leave a little piece of the Middle Ages here. The city has so much history that even historians say: "Wait a second, that's too much for one history book!" The city of Travnik has so much culture that even the museums say: "We probably have to move a few exhibits out, otherwise we'll burst with pride!" This used to be the residence of a sultan governor - so he had a good time with his "workplace". Today the city is known for textile and wood processing. This makes me wonder whether people in the Middle Ages were dressed as smartly as they are today or whether knights walked around in wooden armor. As far as sights go, Travnik has a fortress that makes even the clouds jealous. The mosque here is so impressive that it says: "Hey, other mosques, dress warmly!" And Ivo Andrić's birthplace is probably so literary that the walls whisper stories as you walk past. Things to do in Travnik? Well, you can not only admire the historical sites, but also hike and cycle. The city has so much to offer that some claim Travnik is the gym of history. When eating, you can fill your stomach with cevapi, burek and pita. If that doesn't sound like a culinary adventure, I don't know what will. The nightlife here is probably so relaxed that even the owls say, "Let's stop by, that sounds like a cozy night." And when you travel by bus, you might think you're traveling through time as you explore the different parts of the city. Travnik - where history is alive and the textile factories work so hard that they claim: "We don't just weave fabrics, we weave stories!"
